Born and raised in the artistic and cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires in Argentina, Osvaldo was exposed to many expressions of art at an early age . Armed with a technical degree, he ventured to New York in his early twenties to seek his fortune. There he prospered in his field, never losing his passion for photography and cinema which would eventually lead him to his new life. After producing the unique documentary feature film titled "La Historia En La Arena" (The Great Gaucho Circus), featuring international recognized stars, he was encouraged to continue his artistic education completing courses at "The Cine Club Argentino". There he studied photography, cinematography fundamentals, video editing, computer graphics, script writing, acting, direction, art history and communications. In 1977 a Latin television network of NY (LTV Networks Inc.) learning of his cinematographic and television achievements in Argentina, offered him a position as Vice President of production in charge of developing new and more appealing programming for their rapidly growing national Latin audience. After many years of hard work for the US Latin market, in 2007, he decided to start his own independent video production company, giving him the opportunity to produce, direct and edit many commercials, documentaries, feature films and television programs. Amongst these accomplishments: * " El último viaje " -editor of the film created and directed by Doctor Juan Carlos Dumas * " From Sunset Park To Sunrise Sky ", director and editor of video documentary for The M.A.P.P. organization. * " Only In New York ", editor of feature film directed by Nalin Gunetilleke, * " Seabreeze The Dolphin " producer and editor of a documentary for The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation * " Las Lobas " Special effects on the Argentinean feature film, directed by Anival Di Salvo. * " El Señor Del Baño " , Argentinean TV comedy produced and directed by Osvaldo G. Flores Caligaris, 1978 best Argentinean Video Production Award. * " In Your Backyard ", TV program, directed by Charles Roocke, best editor recognition on the 2007 New York TV Festival. In 2008 while covering the Honolulu Cultural Festival for a documentary he was captivated by the exquisite beauty that surrounded him. Now semi-retired moved from New York to Honolulu to continuing his artistic expression through his unique photos and videos. In 2009 received the Telly award for his editing work on a TV sitcom in NY.
